A prolonged nonsensical number, which tickles the audience mightily and ends in a riot of fun. Ford Sterling impersonates a band leader. The flirtatious Mabel creates trouble between her admirer, Caesar, and the leader. The scenes are located at Venice, California. The story could have been told in one reel, but Keystone fans will welcome both reels. The last scenes are intensely funny. Two reels of harmless amusement of an enjoyable sort. - The Moving Picture World, January 10, 1914
