    A Drive with Linnea and Donald (2008)

    * 1/2 (out of 4)

    Scream Queen Linnea Quigley and underground filmmaker Donald G. Jackson are in the back of a car discussing a variety of things in this 28 minute short film from director Scott Shaw.

    I'm not going to lie, Quigley is a cult favorite of mine so when I ran across this short on Amazon I decided to give it a shot for $2. Was it worth the money? Probably not. I say that because there's really nothing interesting done or said here. I'm going to guess that this was meant to be a "slice of dialogue" of Los Angeles or just a look into what these two might really talk about in the back of a car.

    The problem is that the conversation is rather boring and there are a few technical issues with the lighting and camera that is left in the film. There are even moments where the dialogue is restarted by the actors. I'm not sure if this was left in on purpose or what but it's just not all that entertaining.
