Film crew travels to Portland, Oregon to learn how the locals feel about homeschooling.

During the filming of Schoolhouse Rocked the producers of the film traveled to Woodland, Washington to interview several people, including pastor and author Scott Lapierre and his wife Katie. On an overcast down day they decided to drive down to Portland for some man-on-the-street interviews. The weather was typical for Portland, cold and wet, but the people were warm and welcoming. They met several people and were extremely pleased with how open they were with the filmmakers. While none of the people we interviewed were homeschoolers, it was very interesting to see how open they were to the idea of homeschooling.
