    Season one Review:

Every episode is better than the previous, Titans has gradually built a foundation on which the DC Extended Universe can stand on, a Universe that has been struggling to find it's footing ever since it launched with Man of Steel back in 2013 and though that is a guilty pleasure of mine. I do agree that DC has been having trouble in there cinematic universe. However Titans is something I cannot praise enough, and this make's me sure that DC will find it's footing(at least in the dcuniverse), with shows like Metropolis coming out(did you see that teaser!?) Titans is a series that's brutal and doesn't pull any punches and it's exactly the series that DC needed and deserved. I cannot wait to see what the second season will have to offer(fingers crossed for Nightwing)

    Season Finale Review:

Who would have predicted this series would be this good? Can you remeber the marketing for this show, I'm still trying to forget. But man, this is proof of the potential stories that the DC Extended Universe can provide. Masterful storytelling. Yes, it was obviously a dream state of sorts but even I was sucked into it and the ripples that Trigon created added incentive to the story line and kept the plot moving. Building the climax till even Grayson turned his back to the justice system. Showing how powerful Trigon is and how important it is to have a villian with depth. That being said, I feel like Seamus Dever is miscast here, not that he's a bad actor, he just deosn't look or even feel the part. Might be knitpicking but I did feel like it needed to be said.

What an episode! Dark, menacing and Intense! This one was focused on Robin and finally we get to see Batman, well sort of. As intimidating as the guy who plays robin is,the introduction of Batman shows someone Even More badass than robin..Just OMG he is about as dangerous as Anyone yet introduced! A virtual killing machine with intelligence as well .. And yeah its all taking place in Dicks mind but what a dramatic fall into the Darkside it shows...Just loving this series and as someone already commented, it is deepening and improving upon itself with each episode...THIS is what a superhero show should aspire to be...This is the benchmark so far amongst TV series...The dude in the end credits looks like a bodybuilder...Thats going to be some Super "boy" !! dude is a monster! I'D give this one 11 stars if I could ,its That good..

This episode was far from what I expected, it felt weird but after watching the whole episode I have to say it's one of the show's best episodes as the dark tone flows perfectly with the story, the dream like sequence. I won't spoil anything except what we know, Grayson goes back to Gotham City and the locations and everything about it felt so accurate to the crime infested Gotham I know and love, the easter eggs were a nice addition for the fan boy I am.

For a season finale this episode worked perfectly, leaving us with being hyped for season 2. Next season looks to be amazing, I can't wait.

Although it was very hyped, I feel like it did not live up to it. It was expected to be 2 hours and include more than a vision, it's pretty weird since now we'll have to wait a damn year to see the cliffhanger. It seems as if you saw that people liked the Episode 8 cliffhanger, and you decided to do that for everything, which is not good.

For the actual episode, it was good. The story was written well and paced trough great, it was impressive to see how much you fit in the last 10 minutes of the episode. The after credits scene was great, seeing Superboy and Krypto was awesome.

I look forward to seeing season 2, and excited for Doom Patrol.

This show is everything great about the superhero genre. It's also a prime example of why you should give things a chance before bashing them. I'm a hardcore comics geek and I, regrettably, chimed in with the haters when the first few set/character pics hit the net. I'll tell you this: I've never been this wrong about anything before. Titans absolutely destroys Smallville/Arrow/Flash/Supergirl/Legends. If you haven't watched Titans yet and you're a gigantic fanboy like me, you're only depriving yourself by not giving it a watch. This finale was the best, most well-written, best directed, best edited, and best acted episode of superhero television I have EVER seen. An absolute no-brainer of a 10/10 rating. BRING ON SEASON TWO!

This was one of my favorite episodes of Titans. I really wanted to dig deep into Dick's psychology and that's what happened with this episode.

A great episode but, with the flaw that we must wait for 10 months to see what happens to Dick and the team after Hawk and Dawn recruit Jason Todd.

I think that's a bad cliffhanger for a great and really strong premiere episode for season 2 and I CANNOT wait to see it.

"Was that it?" - This is the question that no season finale should ever leave a viewer with, yet this one did. On its own, it is a good episode that develops Grayson's character to a great extent, but as an end to a season? No, just no. This felt like it was more of a mid-season finale.

You see, seasons of TV shows in many ways should be developed as movies or books. Meaning they should have a clear beginning, middle, and the end, while also leaving something for the next season. You don't end your season in an episode that feels random. The fact that there were behind the scenes shots of Starfire with an actual costume, the producers teased us with Grayson becoming the Nightwing by the end of a season, and that it was originally intended to be 13, then cut to 12 and for some reason 11 episodes now, it's clear that this was never intended to be the end of a season and some content was left out. What happened? Maybe they wanted to work more on those episodes? Was there some budget cut?

Anyway, basically Titans never really came together this season, over 90% of story threads weren't resolved, and it did not feel like an epic finale that Titans deserve. This is sad, because episode is really great, if it wasn't a season finale, I would've easily rated it higher because it is a really intense and well done. Unfortunately, it is a finale, and it did leave mixed feelings after it ended. A fantastic season of television, a great episode, but a really strange choice for an end to such a great season. I am excited for a season 2, and I really hope they don't end that one the same way.

'Dick Grayson' is the finale of Titans Season 1. The acting was really well done especially Brenton Thwaites's. The videography was really good. The directing was amazingly done. There was some references that i truly enjoyed. Even though some scenes felt choppy at times, It was still pleasurable to watch. The story was nicely done and unfolded really well. It had a twist which was quite predictable actually . But the After Credit Scene was something to look forward to in the next season. The cliffhanger was something to desire for and felt weak. I truly expected more from the finale.

In terms of showing off a DC universe, this episode felt like it was could have been made by Nolan. The references made me smile even though a lot of them were just teases. The acting was great and the episode was shot and editted well. However in terms of a finale for the show I just watched through and enjoyed, I was expecting more. The fact that technically there was only a minute or two of actual "finale" in the episode annoyed me a lot. TLDR Great as a stand alone piece, not so great as finale to the show Also watch till the credits end for a fun teaser

I'm disappointed mostly because characters haven't developed close to their potentials. I was expecting Rachel to finally unify with her inner force against her father. After all, it was about time that both her and the rest of the team find peace within themselves and fight with Rachel's father in unison. Though we only found out that Dick has given up to his dark side. That could have been told in 5 minutes but the crew apparently wanted to save Trigon for the next season.

This episode is a great piece of art from start to end, Still, I would prefer a less poetic finale where some action happened in practical terms.

The cinematography and set designs were beautiful. I enjoyed seeing that, but the writing was fine in a way. Hatem is a great writer, but as a finale? That was really weak. This is like Krypton all over again. I'm also sick and tired of this show underhanding Kory in the foreground while showing her advanced and sophisticated skill in the background. Of all ways to go out, really? I mean, I do get Trigon has to win somehow, but I was expecting a different turn out than that. Why does the trailers have to spoil the entire episode? I'm not mad it ended on a cliffhanger, but I am mad about the underserve that Kory got, and how they didn't even give us any indication as to how that futuristic fantasy was absurd dreaming. It's very insulting. Considering Titans has had strong writing and a very good direction in previous episodes, this felt like a rip off. Do better.

First let me say that I had no idea this was on TV shows that the show did not get the push it should have. Gladly it is getting a season two; but since I follow most of the main entertainment sites and never once read about this, well... is there a bias against down an gritty superhero shows?

"Supergirl", Flash", "Arrow", all DC creations that get press are like, well, cartoons compared to "Titans". Oh sure they "tackle" some tough issues and all face appropriate threats but none come close to the angst on display here.

I was lucky enough to find all 11 eps and binge through them. Tho it lost it's footing mid way, it did not totally lose it's core. This final season ep was a step in the right direction but also the wrong direction.

I wondered how DC would handle letting Batman go rouge and assumed someone else was copy-cating him. Never figured it would all be in Grayson's head thanks to Satan or whomever Rachel's dad is.

This has set us up for more "fantasy world" episodes where nothing actually happens for real. Big showdowns will be BS. Big romance (like Rachel and Gar) will be in the head of one or the other. On and on we could be BS'd by the writers since from the user reviews 99% of you here loved the episode.

Me? Sure some great moments but knowing pretty much from the beginning it was manipulated spoiled it. The moment I saw Dick in a swimming pool in sunny CA I knew it was the Big Bad messing with him.

That you all ate it up sets the stage for more nonsense.

This was basically a batman show/episode. In almost every episode Batman/Bruce Wayne is mentioned, it nearly killed the show/episode for me.

Batman doesn't even have to be seen to be over exposed. Enough of Batman already.

This is really getting annoying! Again some filler episodes!!! terrible end for a good season. Made me wonder if i will stick around for the next season. Give me some soild titans story here! Some drama some developing tension across the episodes. But this!!! Oh no, this is a wast of a good show. Like the show is trimmed somehow and not a consistent block.

Titans is a tough show to place. It started slow and gradually built up its own gloomy, mature universe of DC icons, perhaps focusing a little too much on expansion rather than streamlined character building. Nevertheless, "Dick Grayson" held promise to cap off a decent season on a great note. The teasers certainly brought forth an intriguing premise for sure. With Batman off the rails and murdering criminals, it was a given that he and Robin (Brenton Thwaites) would be on a collision course. Granted, this was a dream-world created by the season's villain, but I still entertained the idea of an alternate timeline where Dick is happily off, the Titans are living a good lives and Batman has gone mad. And the show failed to pull it all together. My biggest disappointment came with the Caped Crusader himself as a matter of fact. Of course, the budget clearly wasn't big enough to afford a full-blown bat suit, so I expected Batman to be mostly obscure by darkness and camera angles. But while the trailers hinted at some vicious action sequences, I could barely see any of them. There was one, quick, bloody brawl that was so choppy, that it was impossible to see what was going on. The bat cowl's rubbery quality also did not complement the armoured, more Injustice-style bat suit. Batman himself just felt like an unceremonious waste here. Sure, he kills bad guys now, which is a fun concept, but killing cops is pushing his character way over the line. He just isn't Batman anymore once he goes there. I have to give credit to Gotham though. The disgusting, loud, murky streets were created very well indeed. While the plot to get the big bad bat was a rushed affair, I was hoping for a satisfying finish, one that never came. The dreamworld came to annoyingly abrupt conclusion and the real-world situation left off with a cliffhanger that might just be one of the worst I have ever seen. Titans has had a rather uneven first season, and while I enjoyed a lot of it, I had my problems. "Dick Grayson" brought those problems forth. From bad action, a meaningless storyline and a weakly budgeted execution only helped by the atmosphere, this isn't the finale the season deserved. The end credit sequence, however, is amazing and sets up something truly fun for next season.

I really like Titans. The only prior episode I didn't like was the filler one about Hank and Dawn. I only watched it about half way to two thirds. So if there was clever finish to it I apologize I didn't see it. It found it quite boring and it didn't have any relation to the fairly interesting story Titans was building. But it seems a fairly popular episode, especially among the Comic book readers, introducing the two new characters, so I'll give it its due.

This episode, I miscounted and thought was the penultimate episode. I was still surprised they would use the second last episode just have a bit of back story filler, giving some depth to Robins falling out with Batman. It turns out I was wrong. It was the finalé to season one. The season finalé was a disappointing back story filler. Seriously?

Most reviews here are bought and paid for. This is a great show but this was one of the worst season finales I've ever seen. As an episode on its own it's great but not as a season finale. I played games on my phone while watching this episode to keep me from being bored.. that says enough.

This finale may be dark and even please Marvel fans, so maybe they can also embrace the dark tone. But at the same time, I feel like it did not live up to the media-hyped "Who is Batman". The fun part was Batman killing the Joker. This was once portrayed in the animated feature "The Dark Knight Returns (Part 2)"

Seamus Dever (Trigon) as Captain was the downfall of this episode. The moment he reveals his character as a police captain, it was predictable that this was some sort of dream/hallucination. Imagine Dick giving away the secrets of Batman, nice to have a ...that's only possible virtually! Day dreaming or futuristic fantasy?

The after credits scene was a great asset to a follow-up season .This episode: 6.5/10. My overall Season 1: 82/10 = 8.2 What happened to episode 11? This episode left a lot of mixed feelings. See you Teen Titans next year!
