This sixty minute rant is Bill Maliney's personal documentary on claimed historic child abuse which occurred at the Hart de la Garenne, given the 160 victims who have come forward. Given that he swears throughout, I am not at all surprised why either. Child abuse victims (including those who's remains were found) do not seem to have any voice to reclaim their identity, their soul taken from high profile identities such as those involved in the historical "Elm Guest House" investigations as recent history depicts. Not surprising there are cover ups?

Do not pay any attention to the other "review" of this film. The scale of child abuse and even child murder has been exposed and downplayed time and again by the political elite in the UK media.

Jimmy Savile.Leon Brittan. Ted Heath. Pakistani Muslim sex gangs. Gary Glitter.Harriet Harman I could go on and on about how many famous people are or have been involved in child sex abuse

This film does a good job of exposing the sick culture behind why such people like to rape and even murder children.

The subject is taboo and it's easy for people to turn away rather than face what some very powerful people are capable of.

Any documentary that can help to expose and put an end to this horror is welcome.

It is difficult to believe anyone would call this nearly sixty minute rant a documentary. Bill Maloney styles himself a maverick film-maker, that much is true. Alas...Is Freemasonry really an ultra-secret society, and if so, why does the United Grand Lodge of England have its own website? And this connects with Jersey how, exactly?

Maloney begins his rant on a Jersey beach; he has travelled to the Channel Island to investigate - his word - what is said to have happened at Haut de la Garenne, which in 2007-8 was at the centre of a police investigation into historic child abuse. There was all manner of talk, rumour and scurrilous gossip about this former care home including of the murders of children. It all turned out to be rubbish, notwithstanding the fact that there were a handful of successful prosecutions, including one for gross indecency and indecent assaults on minors.

The case - or rather the allegations - struck a chord with Maloney because he grew up in care himself and was not abused sexually or otherwise. In this film he drives around the island, stops people in the street asking them questions, and make some uninteresting though bizarre innuendos about pornographic statues and the like.

There is some footage related to the police investigation, but absolutely nothing of substance, which is unsurprising because at the end of the day nothing very interesting or terrible happened at Haut de la Garenne. There is though no convincing the true believers, of which Maloney is clearly one.
