» » Hollywood: The Movie (1996)

Short summary

This wild comedy parodies exploitation films as it tells of a young, overanxious director trying to create the next great epic motion picture. Attempting to produce a warm family film, he discovers the only way he is going to find financing is by including footage of Jessica Hahn's breasts!

This movie was purchased in 1995 by Cabin Fever Entertainment, Inc. and was scheduled for a 1996 release. Screeners were sent to a number of critics and video buyers. When Cabin Fever went bankrupt in 1996, however, the film was shelved along with 23 other unreleased films in their catalog. The movie has resurfaced in the form of bootlegs and dubs on the underground film scene.

Former Kansas City Royals/Chicago Cubs outfielder Brian McRae (son of legendary player Hal McRae) appears in a brief cameo as a golf caddie.

Final film appearance of Imogene Coca.
