Short summary
Frustrated about the new prices, satellite operator John MacDougall sends out a little message to HBO, which interrupts its presentation of The Falcon and the Snowman.
One week before the broadcast, McDougall sent out a color bar signal, which was superimposed over what had been airing at the time. It had only lasted a few seconds, and was overnight, so nobody at HBO investigated.
