A decorated police officer attempts to rebuild his career after a fatal shooting.

John Bull, a decorated New York City police officer, returns to work following a fatal shooting. Informed he will no longer be serving the public, Bull is reassigned to a storage and repair facility at the far reaches of the department, stripped of his gun and shield. After a series of attempts to restore his integrity, Bull begins to lose faith in the prospect of winning his old job back, and finally confronts his future.
