This is an unusual story with good cinematography and acting and background score. Different for an Indian film (tamil film). Movie is about the serious subject of caste in a feudal set up in the coffee and tea estates of Tamil Nadu. Lots of issues or touched from caste to globalization without bogging down the plot. Little ambitious for a two hour film. Known actors such as Monica and Sampath are there. Currently, very popular Vijay Sethupathi has a small role but significant role. Looks like one of his very early films. Lots of new faces who suit the role very well. Leads Giridaran and Ashwatha have done a good job also. Some school scenes are very funny. Especially the exam scene. On the whole a well done film.
