In the future, a band of misfits uncover the saga of an infamous rock star. Their journey takes them deep into the legend surrounding the destruction of mankind's first colony on the Moon. They wonder, can rock 'n' roll save the world?

There is a consistent use of bare light bulbs, usually the same bulb, by the cinematographer as in his music videos "Hotel Yorba" (White Stripes), "Do You Trust Me?" (Blanche), and "Survival" (Brian Vander Ark).

This film was shot on a specifically-designed blue screen stage, since the Sony CineAlta cameras tested and used in production reacted less favorably with green screen in producing clean mattes for post production.

This is the first feature film with entirely synthetic sets to be shot in Michigan.
