Henry F. Glazier, a well-to-do businessman, and his wife have two pretty children and are much in love with each other. One day, however Mrs. Glazier sees her husband with a strange woman and follows them to the woman's home. Here she sees the woman pointing to a child and indicating her destitute condition to Glazier. He helps her with money and Mrs. Glazier suspecting groundlessly that her husband has been untrue to her sues and obtains a separation. The daughter is awarded to the mother and the son to the father and the boy growing up without a mother's influence becomes wayward. Twelve years after the separation, Glazier decides to send his son away and writes to his wife to meet the youth for a farewell in the office of a mutual friend, "Bob" Moulton, a young attorney in love with Myra, the daughter. By chance, the parents also meet here and a reconciliation is effected, when matters are explained. The play is a strong argument against bearing idle suspicions against one's life ...
