Ted is unhappy as he mopes around the house and Rosa thinks that he is going through a mid-life crisis. He wants to be a hero and so decides to chuck in his job with putty and head to the Antarctica. Ted's first problem is to get a portrait photograph so he asks his cousin Reg to take it, which isn't as easy as it you'd think. Then Chuck McCord, the round-the-world balloonist, calls in and offers Ted a place on his balloon. But then Reg intervenes.
