When the story begins, there is a gunshot inside a cruise ship stateroom. When the door is forced open, there is a dead man on the floor...and the gun that killed him is on the other side of the room. In addition, the guy in the adjoining room, Roger York (Skip York), is in the room....and it's presumed he killed the man. But York is ademant and insists he didn't do it.

When Erskine and Rhodes take the case, Erskine is concerned because his young partner seems to have a strong bias against York...and he's worried it will impact on his professionalism and objectivity. So what about Rhodes...is he able to separate his distast for this accused playboy and his annoying antics from the case at hand?

This is a pretty good episode...with a few weak aspects. My only quibble is that the solution to the mystery seemed a bit far fetched....and perhaps there were alternative explanations for the death. And, what's with that airplane sequence and the cliff??!! See the show and you'll see what I mean.

By the way...watch the scene with the gun flying across the room. You can CLEARLY see wires attached to it!!
