Masturbação (2005) watch online HD

From the sewing to orgasm says one of the promotional taglines of the film. Indeed, "Masturbação" tells in an artsy fashion both acts in one unusual scheme to paint a portrait of a sexual act which revolves around a woman doing her work with a sewing machine and pleasuring herself with the movements of the machine. Nothing more than that but the way writer/director Gregorio Graziosi conceives the action it's almost extraordinary with fast jump cuts in between the sounds of the machine growing louder and faster, images obscured by a reduced number of colors and shadows while the woman's hand seems not only control the thing but also something else down south.

A pity it doesn't last longer but the film manages to be something to be admired for its precise artistic vision without recurring to explicit ways of telling its "story" (it'd be too obvious if Graziosi did that). But it's all there. She masturbates herself while working on the machine and reaches something great with that. So here's an artistic view on an act that is also truly artistic, as in the words of Woody Allen, "There are only two things in life that can be controlled: art and masturbation."

The short was one of the many films lined up for the Festival do Minuto (Minute Festival, dedicated exclusively to short films) and some other awards and it's quite easy to spot on the internet. A commendable short film, one of Gregorio Graziosi's earliest works, who recently released his first feature film called "Obra". By the talent displayed here I'm more than curious to see that film. 6/10
