I couldn't finish watching it after I made it a quarter of the way through. I think what other reviewers have said holds true: if you like constant swearing, overused Asian stereotypes, and Hollywood name drops, then this is for you. Otherwise, if you're looking for something more cerebral and polished, move on.

Not funny at all. the whole special is him bragging about his fame and money and constantly reminding you that he is a doctor too.

I love Ken Jeong. I love his movies. But I just couldn't put my finger on what was a joke and what was just a.... kind of "funny" story? I would've really liked to take a dive into Ken's life a little bit more, but most of the content was rehashing characters and stories that we already know. 4 to 5 Mr. Chow impressions, stories about the Hangover, and nothing but name drops and shoutouts to more successful comedians. This could've been great - and I really wanted it to be - but the jokes just fell flat. Ken should've spent more time prepping these jokes and perfecting them instead of just going for the low hanging fruit; ie: anti-Trump jokes, Asian accents, bringing back characters from movies that happened over 10 years ago. Love Ken. Hated this special.

There's no comedy here, there are no jokes, no funny stories, nothing comedic at all. It's 62 minutes of this guy telling you how famous he is, name dropping "shout out to"'s, reminding you he's a doctor because there wasn't enough bragging about all the celebs he calls friends, and this is after the long boring stretch in the beginning where he just can't get started. Typical political ignorant preaching, no jokes, nothing funny, just saying rude things and getting a drunk audience to holler.

I love Dr. Ken and he has always been hilariously funny. And there are some really great moments in this special but I was constantly reminded of something Colin Quinn would scream: "Stop APPLAUDING! Applause kills comedy". The special starts out strong with some other Asians in the crowd but then there were too many moments that remind me of the opening monologue on SNL where the host begins announcing things that are designed for applause and it just gets tedious.

Not funny in any way. Netflix just hands out specials to anyone these days.

I was really expecting comedy, ended up with watching the unfunniest standup in a long time.

Seen upcommers with a lot more material than this. It wasn't funny to watch, and quite hard to finish. He actually just spends 60 minutes on promoting him self and his daughter, clapping his own back for the work he has done and underlining how rich he is.

Ken can be funny in small dosages. The word to describe him when I first saw him in a movie was "obnoxious." I knew that I probably couldn't last long, but I was hoping that he would surprise me. But I was right, very vulgar, very obnoxious. I don't think he's a case of you either love him or hate him, I definitely think there is a middle ground, and that middle ground is movies because you get him in small dosages. Over an hour of just that personality... I couldn't do it, had to turn it off after 10-15 minutes. He gives me that Dane Cook vibe, another obnoxious comedian. That guy fell off the map. Obnoxiousness, the word of the day. LOL! It will get old Ken, change it up a bit.

This was one of the worst comedy specials I have ever seen. There are no jokes. Just him bashing on Asians for a while (can be funny but it wasn't here). He spent a lot of time telling us how rich and famous he is. About how he is a doctor. Some stuff about how his wife is a Ho and how some plants in the audience are also Ho's.

And that's about it. I don't understand. This should not have passed any kind of quality control.

I get it, the guy is a millionaire and is rich. But this was no were close to a stand up. There is no freakin difference between a Mayweather interview and this stupid stand up. In short what I took away is : I am Asian. I am a millionaire. I am great. Rest everyone is a sucker. God, do not waste your time.

He's no Bill Burr or Chappelle, but he's got Ho's! Fun time, relax critics.

One of the worst things I've ever seen on Netflix. It's awful and unfunny. He's really untalented. His shtick wears thin after 3 minutes. Avoid at all costs.

There will be a lot of haters on this cause it's not entirely funny. There are funny moments. More so, if you love Ken this should make you love him more. He's a great storyteller and That's what made it for me. I loved it all in all even if it didn't always make me laugh. Ken is a treasure.

This is just an Asian guy congratulating himself on being a celebrity and having been in some movies. Well, I did not like The Hangover, and do not even remember this dude from it (or really anything else about it). He keeps reminding us that he is a doctor. who left medicine to pursue acting and stand-up. I am not familiar with 95% of the celeb names he dropped. BTW, I have much more respect for a mediocre doctor than I do for a lousy comic. In fairness, I did not stay with this very long, as I felt it a waste of time. So if it got great later, oh well.

When he began slamming our president, my husband and I turned it off. Why do all the Hollywood folks hate Trump so much? I refuse to watch any show that should be entertaining and becomes political.

He is pretty funny. This show was just a bit of repetitive. I laughed a lot about the "Ho" jokes at first, especially because of audience members but after a while it was to overdone. His stories about filming and being a doctor though were funny. I hate any Donald Trump jokes these days because there are so many and it seems like a safe space for comedy. His grabbing pussy joke was fine but then came that not funny racism rant. One could have skipped it. It is a comedy show not a political speech. The Clinton jokes were funny as well though

Ken talks like he is making it.up on.the spot. Rambles on about nothing with little set up .if you took a shot every time he uses the F word you would be passed out on the floor within.first 5 minutes..show is way to long..reminded me of the ellen special without all the swearing..he used to be a doctor , made a few movies..name drops every famous person he can think of..the audience was high drunk or both.i like ken.but i didnt like this mess..every time i see him on tv now ill think of tjis horrible attempt at stand up

You Complete Me, Ho was mildly funny at best. It was basically him name dropping a much of celebrities that he knows and saying about two funny things in between. Mediocre at best. Would have appreciated more comedy and less name dropping.

So for a while I really wasn't a fan of Ken Jeong's crass sense of humor but recently (mostly after binging Community and loving him in Crazy Rich Asians) I've really been coming around to it. This special showcases his trademark blunt, unapologetically crude jokes and delivery but has a tremendous amount of heart and sincerity, covering subjects such as being an Asian American in Trump's America, his former life as a doctor, genuine relationships with his previous directors and costars, and his struggles with mental health. And also his wife!!! The way he talks about his wife (the inspiration for the special's name and Valentine's Day release date) is so precious and pure, I actually teared up towards the end. I can see why his type of humor may not appeal to some, but if you like smart but kind of gross comedy that doesn't take itself too seriously with a lot of heart, I highly reccomend this special!!

I can say I have seen all of Netflix's stand up special's. Ken's set was different the hundred other's that you can view. The small venue makes for a more intimate feel. There is a feeling that you ca relate to Ken; yet how many of us go from Doctor to actor?

This piece had plenty laugh the head off moments and emotial pieces.

Watched the whole thing, laughed once. This is not stand up. This is just Ken telling boring stories and ripping into people. This went from I finally have money, to trashing the president, to boring close out. Seriously, I really wanted to like this but this is just not funny. I'm not a comedian and I think I'm funnier than him.
