Short summary

Once upon a time there was this old guy who decided to try something new. So he got a camera, went home, locked the doors, and enticed his inner child to come out and play. The egocentric images he captured were brilliantly stupid, gloriously uneventful, and absolutely mind numbing. So he made a little showcase movie. Blathering is a prodigious discombobulated libretto that explodes, with a geriatric angst coupled with a born-again childish exuberance. This little film encapsulates the human experience in all its absurdity, banality and causality. It offers no insight, answers, or salvation. But, in the scope of its seven minutes it does provide a deliciously honest, albeit funky, view into our shared existence. Oh, yeah and some may find it funny.

SaMo Indie (Santa Monica Independent Film Festival) 2015 Honorable Mention winner. Blathering in its entirety was not played at the event. But, a 3.8 second clip from the film short that included the movie title and director credit was featured along with other Honorable Mention winners in the Highlight Reel that played before the official selections screen.
