This was the first episode that I've seen Cold Case, and it was amazing. I was seriously going to cry at the end. It made me realize a lot of things, and I am absolutely in love with it. The actors were all amazing, and I believed every single bit of the episode. You know when you see something, and you just can't get it out of your head, no matter how hard you try? This episode did that. It made me want to find a love like the one in this episode. The rooftop scene made me fall in love with both Daniela and Chris. The actors were amazing. It was the first time that I've ever watched something and been able to say, "Wow, that's love." The love that Chris and Daniela had outweighed even the love that Rose and Jack had in Titanic, or any other great love story. It was absolutely amazing. I really would have cried at the end, but my attention was interrupted. It was the most amazing thing I have ever watched.

If you collect television crime drama episodes this one is for you! A must have. One of the most powerfully moving and thought provoking stories and dramas I have yet seen in a cop drama. Haunts even to this day in 2014. It will cause you emotions, thought provoking and re-examination of them as relating to topic of the main character Daniela a trans gender. Very realistic superb acting, setting and mood. It grips your attention from the beginning and doesn't let you go during the emotional roller coaster ride until the very end and leaves you haunted for years to come. Of all the Cold Case episodes ever produced this one is by far the very best. A must have to any collection pertaining the crime dramas.

I remember seeing this as a first run and whenever I could since then. Such a deeply important story, especially today. Love that transcends all but does not ignore the surrounding sad realities I am hoping that this episode opened many minds and hearts. I always considered myself open and nonjudgmental but this story really opened my eyes more by presenting a true love story, rather than stereotypes or exaggerations to try to make a point. While as a crime drama focused on solving homicides, you already know (in most cases) which person has died, the ending was still extremely heartbreaking. It is, unfortunately, all too common an ending, or at least a contemplation, for too many women like Daniela, and other - often Very young, folks in the LGBT+ community. God willing, this will change.
