Margeaux Peters starts her first day as a sophomore on a bad foot and is trapped in a Sociology group project with four very different students; Former jock Clive Jenkins, the high-maintenance Lizabeth Martin, chronically passive Luke Jameson, and downright demonic Kyla Cane make it clear that the next three years will be a painful one - painfully hilarious.

Sandra's line to Luke Jameson, in which she said he passed "4 classes in 11 years," was an outtake. But it was eventually included since it was too funny to cut.

Clive's first scene was meant to be with Angela and the character of her boyfriend Victor Abrams, which was changed to Angela and his love interest Renee Clark for production.

In the original pilot script, Tina claimed she had a "knife" in her purse, as opposed to "mace" as it is in the final version.

The character of the "Sleeping girl" was originally going to return in the Sociology classroom throughout the series, but was never seen after the "Pilot."
