Krim (1995) watch online HD

This film is among the best films I have ever seen. Hammou Graïa portrays Krim Jacob with such intimacy and care, intensity and lust, love and despair - I felt as in the forests of the Mures Valley, embraced by n dimensions. Truly there is no greater film on graph theory.

To quote the Targu Mures Historical Society:

"From the city of Qırım, now Staryi Krym, hails a most ancient legend. It is that of the man draped in Red, with a beard of Silver, a heart of Gold and soul eternally Black. Veiled by abstract mystery, he is a man of no accepted origin. His very existence has through long, dark years been disputed by scholars. Yet the people believe – they must, and in our very town of Targu Mures the old still whisper and cry his many names.".

I believe this speaks for itself.

This film really captures the true feeling of Krim Jacob. The despair and frustration the real Krim must have felt really comes through in Graïa's performance. Especially the scenes where our subject is lost in the forest of the Mures Valley or during the meaningless struggle to keep the Transylvanian academy of graph theory and occult combinatorics open. Otherwise Mr. Clay's acting as Eugène really stands out. That being said, much of the other acting is not as good as this legend deserves. My verdict: 8 out of 10

P.S "The man from earth" is another film based on the legend of Krim, but this one is better.
