To escape a dystopic future, a young couple travels back in time to late 20th century New York. Soon, they discover, they're being followed.

Roy (Ryan Pater) and his wife Elizabeth (Alexandra Hellquist) are enjoying their New York getaway, when suddenly they discover they've been followed. Simms (Dan Truman), an agent from the future, has been sent back in time to extract Roy, to return to the year 2133 AD, where he is a nuclear physicist, specializing in making the next doomsday weapon. Roy and Elizabeth take cautionary measures to blend into their 20th century surroundings, and take the company of a film director and his crew. Simms still manages to find them, and makes a deal with Roy, to return with him so long as Elizabeth is spared. Simms schedules a rendezvous with Roy, but before Roy can make it to the location, Elizabeth uses the drop to execute Simms. With Simms dead, Roy and Elizabeth retreat to their filmmaker friends, who they soon learn, are not who they seem.
