Short summary

The Black Plague of the 21st Century has hit. The world is under seige with society literally crawling to a halt. The world has been torn in half. The last great hope for the southern hemisphere lies in Melbourne, a so called 'safe zone'. The city is divided into the safe zone, 'The East', and the quarantined infection zone, 'The Red Zone'.

Filming took place over four ten hour days. $90 of the budget was spent on catering. Drake said in an interview that "The film didn't need more money, though some may say otherwise. We knew what we wanted to achieve, so we used our resources wisely."

Producer Tyrone Dalton frequently stepped in to be an extra.

Director Edward Drake solicited advice and mentoring from key figures in the film industry by pretending to be a journalist.

All post production was completed on consumer grade equipment.

Where Were You recorded over 2 million views, 18.5 thousand likes and had a "thumbs up" approval of 97%. It won every audience category in the competition that year.

Extras were bribed with pizza to appear on film. In an interview with the filmmakers it was revealed that catering was the major draw-card for most individuals.

A graphic novel prequel to the series was produced and had a limited run of 1000 copies distributed to local newsagents, theaters and comic book stores.
