Short summary

Clarke confronts the Underground community President Dante Wallace and demands answers. Meanwhile, Kane interrogates one of the 100 for information about the area and the Grounders, and Abby performs emergency surgery. Meanwhile, Octavia resorts to violence to find Lincoln and to who is holding him.

This is the first episode where there are opening credits instead of the usual thing where the main cast is credited on the bottom of the screen during the first few minutes of the show.

First appearance of Indra (Adina Parker).

Goof The outside shot of what is supposed to be Mt Weather is shown with several sattelite dishes still intact on it. These probably would not have survived a nuclear blast that occurred near Washington DC. The shot also prominately features a lake and a dam. The real Mt Weather is isolated from water, the closest large body of water being the Shenandoah river. The President tells Clarke that they have access to Phillpot Dam which is on the southern end of Virginia while Mt Weather is on the northern tip of the state.

Unlike my other favorite show carried by The CW, (Supernatural) this first of Season 2,both episodes 1 and 2 had me on the edge of my seat. Both the first and second episodes were stellar in the writing and plot.

The part where Jaha hears the baby and finds the baby, well duh I guess my brain wasn't working correctly. I believed that he had really found a baby even though I couldn't understand how it could have been put there and survived.

Come to find out it was all in Jaha's mind due to oxygen deprivation.

I always wanted for Jaha to somehow find a way to make it to earth and he does. But I mean why didn't he think of that before? The explanation which was hardly none of him realizing he can use a rocket to get to earth, which to me was SO implausible I'm sure that had a lot to do with the lack of an explanation or details.

However he did make it which is great. Don't know exactly where he landed, but someone in the comments said New York.

Also hate the fact that once the adults got on the ground, Kane in particular has got his trusty rule book with him, and is obnoxiously overbearing to the juveniles.

I mean they survived without the adults, most of them anyway, yet they are now treated like 12 year old's by Kane.

Now Abby once again, has gotten herself in trouble. I haven't seen the episode from Nov. 5th yet, but I realize Abby is a rebel and I like her for that, but with Kane in charge she is treading on thin ice.

Clarke does not trust their so called new protectors, and for good reason I feel. Something is SO wrong there with the leaders and we got a glimpse of horror as Clarke investigates the medical facility.

Jasper is always SO trusting. Give him a good meal, and a warm place with no fighting or threat, and he seems oblivious to the fact that they all could be just flies there to feed the spiders.

All in all a great second episode which continued that excellent writing from the first. Can't wait to see last Wednesday's.

"The 100" keeps it interesting with this second episode of season two, where lot of things, and many of them interesting, happen.

As expected from the previous episode, as soon as his feet were on Earth, Kane has become his old controlling self. Bellamy and Finn are not very happy with that, specially Bellamy, who is put in "prison". Clarke is the only one in the underground community that seems to think that something smells fishy, and, in an interesting turn of events, Jaha finds a survivor in the Ark. A baby.

One good thing "The 100" does in this episode is keeping all the story-lines interesting. Murphy change of heart? Check. Raven's health? Check. Kane's desire to be the boss? Check. Etc. etc... The dynamics had to change after last season's ending and the beginning of this second, and the show has done an almost flawless job in doing so. The fan of the first season will probably be enjoying these first episodes of the second.

But to keep a show interesting, and more in the case of a serialized one, you have to make the characters face more and more challenging threats, more and more dangerous foes. This second season of "The 100" is bringing us the underground community. Is it more dangerous than the Grounders? That they don't seem to be as savage as them makes us believe that, deep down, they must be horrible (but all of them?).

"The 100" keeps being quite interesting. And it continues to tease with more.
