Bernice and Roderick have been engaged for three months. When Roderick moved into her apartment Bernice made him get rid of pretty much everything he owned. He feels the place is too feminine and there is nothing of him in there. She is a typical East coast girl whereas he is a West coast boy - she is loud and fast, he is slow and laid back. She likes bright colors, he likes black. She keeps everything, he thinks it's clutter. Bernice is a control freak who shoots down all of his ideas.
