Part of the film was shot in Sioux City, a western theme park in Gran Canaria. The movie Der schwarze Cowboy (1975) was also filmed there.

Antonio Mayor, who plays Nelson, also collaborated in Der schwarze Cowboy (1975), both front and behind the cameras.
