And that her sister is the mistress of Kamar DeLos Reyes the leader of a Latin King's type gang that runs the project where she and her late sister lived.

Reyes is on a real power trip and this is only the beginning of his attempt to reassert his control over the lives and people in the Bitterman Housing Project known to its residents as the Bitter End. Later on that includes taking and spilling some Blue Blood.
