Short summary

Hank campaigns to elect Professor McKillup as favorite professor on campus.

Actress Mary Rings was quoted as saying she got her Screen Actors Guild card doing Hank (she was in 2 episodes).

Actor Henry Capps (credited as "Grabowski," that name not used) plays Phil the football player. Not so coincidentally, in the next episode, actor Norman Grabowski will begin playing a recurring football player character, most often called "Podowsky."

As an unregistered student, Hank can't vote for his beloved Professor McKillup as favorite professor on campus. The winner is given an European vacation. Hank campaigns to elect Professor McKillup as favorite professor on campus. Hanks plasters "Vote McKillup" everywhere and tries to gather as many votes for him as possible. Familiar character actor Burt Mustin (think the oldest actor you know from classic television) plays a messenger here. William Christopher, who would go on to play beloved Father Mulcahy on M*A*S*H, wins the auction for a date with the dynamite Dianna Clark. 'The Andy Griffith Show", "Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C." and "Here's Lucy" director Coby Ruskin took reigns of this episode.
