Short summary

Ex-Vice President Kinsey comes to Jack informing him of the Trust's activities including what seems to be a plan for the Russians to reclaim the Stargate they lent to the United States. He decides to use Kinsey as their inside man with the Trust. Kinsey wears a wire for his meeting with the Trust to set up a meeting with a high-ranking Russian general. The plan goes south when the signals get jammed just as the Trust makes an astounding revelation to Kinsey and they beam out.

When Daniel has his blood taken, the medic who takes it already has the vial attached to the needle. Medical vials are vacuum sealed, it is this vacuum that draws the blood through the needle, without a vacuum the procedure would not work. If the vial is already attached then the vial would draw in air through the needle making it useless. When a medic takes a blood sample they insert the needle first and then insert the vial, this ensures the integrity of the vacuum.

The three conspirators - Mr. Parker, Mr. Kent, and Mr. Wayne, are named after three comic book characters: Spider-Man (Peter Parker), Superman (Clark Kent), and Batman (Bruce Wayne).

When ex- Vice president Kinsey is taken by "The Trust", you can see the "Mikita Couriers" writing on the surveillance van which Carter and Dr. Jackson are in. Andy Mikita has directed several of the episodes in the series.

Voronkova is taking Jackson to dine on 'the best salo in Moscow'. Salo is a Slavic variation on fat-back, sometimes salt cured, sometimes smoked. Think of big slabs of bacon, but all fat no meat.

Mike Dopud appears in SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis for first of 3 times in this episode. He appears once again as a completely different character in SG-1 on Episode 15 of Season 10 as Odai Ventrell and in Stargate Atlantis on Episode 9 of Season 5 as as "Runner" named Kiryk. Another example of all the Stargate series' using repeat actors.

When speaking Russian, characters repeatedly and clearly refer to General Kislev as "Kiseleva". As is made clear by Captain Voronkova, the "a" at the end of a Russian surname denotes a female family member.

Jack is surprised by Kinsey in the room of his apartment, and the former vice-president discloses that the Trust is planning to convince the Russian government to request their Stargate back. Jack decides to use Kinsey as a mole wearing a wire in a meeting with the leaders of the Trust. However the signal is jammed and Kinsey vanishes. There is a serious crisis between the Russian and the American governments and Jack sends Daniel to Russia and Teal´c to Prometheus, while he stays at the SGC with Sam and the Russian Colonel Chekov trying to resolve the friction between their governments.

"Full Alert" is a full of action episode of "Stargate SG-1" with a good and tense story. The plot in the end is well-resolved but now the SGC needs to take care to see if there is any Goa´uld in their base. My vote is eight.

It appears Kinsey heard about what happened to Harry. He was redeemed after constantly showing up and working with Jack.

Actually Kinsey is concerned the Trust is no longer working in the US' best interest, so he turns to Jack to get to the bottom of the situation.

It turns out the Goa'uld have infiltrated the Trust and are trying to start a nuclear war on Earth. Jack and the rest of SG-1 foil the plot in the nick of time.

The episode isn't great, but it isn't bad. It moves along the Goa'uld story line, and it gives some substance to the Trust.

No. Kinsey can't be redeemed. But he can get killed.
