Short summary
Despite Jimmy's wedding with Sabrina, she has no legal parental status concerning Hope, so she plans to adopt her. Lawyer Wally Phipps is reluctant to take the case, considering the Chance grandparents repeatedly hired him for ludicrous trials, but rarely paid him a cent. However he's defending a murder-suspect and decides he needs to counter he prosecutor's flashy co-counsels with his own 'lookers', and decides to hire Burt and Virginia for the part, which ultimately gets extended to standing in, despite ignorance concerning penal law and procedure.
